Band pays tribute

8/21/2008

Charles Ray & The Righteous Kind’s debut album, “Some Are of Love,” features Forgotten Coast sites and sounds in the CD’s artwork and songs.

The album cover is by Apalachicola photographer Richard Bickel, and the artwork includes photos from Carrabelle Beach, Apalachicola, Mexico Beach and St. George Island. The song “All I Really Want” is about a chance meeting of lovers on Mexico Beach.

The Gainesville band, playing original 1960s-inspired rock, is working on a tour through the area. The CD will be on sale in the area soon. For more information, see www.myspace. com/therighteouskind or contact Ray at charlesray67@gmail.com
